Meeting Gwen Stefani in Las Vegas

My trip to Las Vegas with my husband Michael finally happened this past weekend. I’ve been talking about it for almost a year now. As a birthday gift, he bought tickets for us to meet and see Gwen Stefani in concert. I thought I would share some of the highlights. It was B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

The trip started out a little rough with our plane ride there because of maintenance issues. They said it was a seat belt that needed fixing but we ended getting another plane after being told we might have a 3 hour delay. We arrived 2 hours later so I think we dodged a bullet because it could of been far worse.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

View from Terrace Studio room at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas

Our hotel in Vegas was The Cosmopolitan. Michael and I have been wanting to stay there for quite some time now. The prices were very reasonable so we just went for it. The room and view were incredible! They looked right out on the strip and the Paris’ Eiffel Tower and Bellagio fountains were in clear view. We had a Terrace Studio room and I would definitely stay there again if there is any reason to go back.

Friday Night

My husband and I before having dinner at Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.

On Friday night, we had dinner at Rose. Rabbit. Lie. in the Cosmopolitan. This restaurant featured artists singing and dancing while you ate dinner. It was a very cool experience. The food was so-so but the entertainment was phenomenal.

After dinner, we had a cocktail at a speakeasy bar located next door that let you pick vinyl records to listen to while drinking. We ended up meeting a group of people that were so fun to hang out with so we decided to join them at the club in the Bellagio for drinks and dancing. (I took to them immediately because they said I reminded them of Carrie from Sex and the City. My life is now complete.) Lol!

My outfit for the night was a 80’s inspired black mini dress. (I drove Michael and all my Insta stories viewers crazy with my outfit plans for the weekend.) I’m glad I chose to wear the dress on this night because it was perfect for the club atmosphere. I hope to do a full post on this dress in the near future.

Saturday Night – Meeting Gwen Stefani

Before our big night with Gwen Stefani, I did a little window shopping, gambled a little, and hung out at the Spa at the Cosmopolitan called the Sahra Spa & Hammam. I had an amazing massage and also lounged in their whirlpool. This spa is must-do if you are in Vegas.

My husband and I meeting Gwen Stefani at the Meet and Greet before her show in Las Vegas.

We headed to the Zappos theater in Planet Hollywood about 3 hours before the show to meet Gwen Stefani. There was a lot of waiting around and there were many restrictions on what we could do upon meeting her. (No cellphones, no bringing items to autograph, and no handbags.) It was all worth it! She was so so sweet and kind. She really took the time to speak to us one-on-one. I told her how obsessed I am with her style and fashion and how much I adore her and Blake Shelton together. She was very gracious. They had a professional photographer take photos of us with her and we were able to access these shots right away.

Gwen Stefani in Concert

You must go see this concert if you are in Las Vegas. The show was incredible! She is an amazing performer and sang (no lip synching!) all of her hits. The dancers, musicians, and all of the effects were top notch. She had a fashion montage during one of her breaks that gave me goose bumps.

A Big Thank You to My Husband

Nothing of this would of happened if it wasn’t for my loving husband. He bought the tickets to the concert for my birthday last year but then surprised me with the meet and greet tickets a couple of months later. What a guy!

To top it all off, as I was writing this post on the plane back home, he surprised me with the sweetest gift, this Gucci rhinestone bracelet. I had discovered this beauty in the Gucci store while I was window shopping and posted it on my Insta Stories. (I was trying to win enough money to buy it myself!) As I was writing about the bracelet here, he handed a Gucci box to me on the plane. I lost it and started crying. The people on the Southwest flight probably thought I was nuts. I am just so grateful for this man and love him for his generous spirit and kindness. I love you babe!
